WINTERHAVEN, Calif. – A rollover crash between Yuma and El Centro leaves one person dead and two severely injured. It happened Monday on Interstate 8 just east of Highway 98 according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers say none of the people in the car were wearing seat belts. Two of the three were ejected from the truck during the incident. One woman died, and men were flown to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Desert with severe injuries.
Officers haven’t released the passengers’ identities since none of them had any form of identification at the time of the incident. An investigation is underway.
