IMPERIAL, Calif. – The 22nd ranked Arizona Western College Matadors men’s basketball team is riding a 2-game winning streak going into the Christmas holiday break.
They would face the Imperial Valley College Arabs in the final contest of the year, before both teams resume their seasons in 2016. The Arabs come into this one with a team ladened with freshmen with a lot to prove.
In the end, the Mats would pull it out; 91 to 72.
