YUMA, Ariz. – An armed and dangerous suspect is on the loose in Yuma, according to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office. The Yuma County Narcotics Task Force is searching for 46 year old Alonso Silva. The multi-agency task force says they served a search warrant at a home on South Avenida Compadres in Yuma on Friday and say they found more than 80 grams of meth, narcotic pills and handguns inside the home. Silva is the suspect involved with that warrant, police attempted to pull Silva over but he fled from officers. He was last seen wearing a black tee shirt and has a goatee. Silva is described as a Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes. He’s six-foot one and 220 pounds. Police say Silva may have a firearm and should be considered armed and dangerous.
The Yuma County Narcotics Task Force is made up of officers and agents from the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, the Somerton Police Department, the U.S. Border Patrol, and the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations—with the assistance of the Wellton Police Department.
