YUMA, Ariz. – The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office said it is looking for a man considered to be armed and dangerous. Deputies said investigators with the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force, YCNTF, served a narcotics search warrant at the home of 46-year-old Alonso Silva.
The home is located in the 10200 Block of S. Avenida Compadres in Yuma. Deputies said the search lead to the discovery of about 80.7 grams of methamphetamine, narcotic pills, multiple loaded handguns, and paraphernalia consistent with street sales.
Silva fled from deputies, who attempted to stop him in his vehicle. Silva is a Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes, about 6’1″ in height, and weighs about 220 pounds. Deputies said Silva was last wearing a black t-shirt and had a goatee. He was last seen driving a 1983 Jeep CJ7 with a tan top, chrome wheels, and a gray primer front end, in the area of 32nd Street and Pacific Ave.
Deputies believe Silva has a handgun on him, and he’s considered armed and dangerous.
