UOFA ROAD TOUR STILL

YUMA, Ariz. – The University of Arizona athletics made a stop in Yuma for its third leg of the Annual Arizona Road Tour.

The annual meet-and-greet event returned to Lute’s Casino, since the tour last landed came to Yuma in 2014.

Among the Wildcat representatives were school athletic director Greg Byrne, head men’s basketball coach Sean Miller, new women’s head basketball coach Adia Barnes and assistant football coach Tony Dunes.

The tour stop brought out local Wildcat fans who had the chance to interact with the representatives from Tucson.

Even though the tour was designed to reach out to U of A fans, Miller expressed that fans turned out to reach the coaches.

“This year for us is to reach different areas of our state which have been so supportive of our efforts; not only athletically, but also so many former alumns. Just people who have gone to school at the U of A and it’s always nice to reach out and hear their story. And mostly, I think from our perspective show how grateful we are for everything they’ve done.”

This year’s road tour concludes in the White Mountains on June 10th.
