
YUMA, Ariz. – The former Yuma junior high school teacher accused of sexual exploitation charges faces judge today.
Christopher Knoles was present at today’s no-bond hearing which would eliminating the updated $800,000 and $250,000 bonds and the option to even carry a bond for both the two separate charges against him.
That action however was not imposed.
The attorney for Knoles has a substitute in the courtroom — and will for the next six weeks as he’s reportedly out for personal reasons.
That means this case will pick back up April 22nd at 11:00am

YUMA, Ariz. – A former Gila Vista Jr. High School teacher turned himself in Monday morning and is now facing new charges of sexual misconduct with multiple minors.
Yuma police officers say Christopher Knoles, 47, was booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on sexual abuse, molestation of a child, aggravated assault with sexual motivation and 14 additional charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Knoles was originally arrested less than a month ago for attempted sexual exploitation of a minor. Investigators say Knoles is suspected of soliciting nude photos from a Gila Vista student via social media.
Police officers say they were able to get the evidence they needed to make the arrest after an extensive investigation with the help of Yuma School District 1.
