YUMA, Ariz.- The driver that nearly killed a 20-month-old toddler has been found. The Yuma Police Department identified 28-year-old Darlin Delagado as the driver and a 2004 Chevy Malibu as the car involved in the incident.
Delagado complained of injuries due to the crash and is currently in the hospital. Alcohol has not been confirmed as a factor in the crash.
The case is still under investigation.
The parents, Daniel and Morgan Rickett, say they are happy their son is okay and hope drivers are more careful on the roadways.
