
SAN LUIS, Ariz. – The San Luis Police Department arrested a man with 41 pounds of methamphetamine Tuesday morning.
SLPD officers conducted a traffic stop on a gray 2006 Honda sedan after a traffic violation at County 19th and Avenue I.
The vehicle was being driven by 20-year-old Eulice Salvador Lopez-Villanueva. SLPD officers found the narcotics inside the vehicle that Lopez-Villanueva was driving at the time.
The narcotics were inside a hidden compartment. The estimated street value of the methamphetamine is $123,000. Lopez-Villanueva was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center for Possession of Dangerous Drug for Sales.
