YUMA, Ariz. – The Yuma Catholic Shamrocks are still unbeaten and are sitting atop the division four power point rankings with two matches remaining in the regular season.
The Rocks would honor their seven seniors in the lineup on “senior night” of their season home finale on Tuesday night. The team would send their seniors out on a strong note, as they dominated Mohave in the first half, scoring four goals; which included one by Fernando Ramirez with only minutes left until halftime.
Y.C. would cruise the rest of the way, getting the 5 to nil win. Five different Shamrocks would score on the night, while Jorge Ruiz and Omar Rojas would combine for five assists.
The Rocks close out the regular season Wednesday afternoon at Palo Verde Valley.
