
YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. – A couple was rescued west of the Gila Mountains after a man fell off the edge of the Jester’s Trail.
Deputies with the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) say they received a 911 call early afternoon Monday from a woman reporting that her husband had fallen off the trail.
The man and woman were found shortly after with the help of Yuma Marine Corps Air Station Search and Rescue Unit (MCAS SAR) and Rural Metro Fire and Ambulance.
Deputies say the man was taken to Yuma Regional Medial Center by helicopter.
His condition is unknown at this point.
