SOMERTON, Ariz. – The opportunity is open for anyone who wants to start a business on Main Street, Somerton.
The plan is to increase the estimated more than 20,000 people living in the city.
According to U.S. Small Business Administration, entrepreneurship drives in more than $28 million in American sales, which accounts for 54% of all U.S. sales.
Bringing in more money to Somerton and tourists having more options is the direction the city is moving.
Hector Tapia, economic director for the city says, “We are trying to work with small business to create incubator space, so they can actually grow.”
