YUMA, Ariz. The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man they believe attacked two victims.
YCSO said deputies responded to a report of a domestic assault in the 9600 Block of South Apache Tears Avenue in the Foothills Friday at 3:19 a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies located two victims at the residence with injuries. The suspect, 18-year-old Jorge Garcia-Aceves of Yuma, fled from the residence into a nearby agriculture field where he was located by deputies and taken into custody.
One victim was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center by Rural Metro Ambulance. The second victim self-transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Garcia-Aceves was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on two counts of attempted homicide and is being held on a $500,000 bond.
