YUMA, Ariz.-
A Yuma County Sheriffs Deputy is recovering Monday morning after his cruiser was involved in a car accident. It happened about 4:30 p.m. Sunday evening, near 3 E and 32nd street.
Police say the deputy was responding to a car on fire when a white SUV hit him.
Three passengers from the SUV as well as the sheriffs deputy were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center.
The deputy is in stable condition and is recovering. Y.C.S.O. tells us that the three passengers have been evaluated and are doing well.
