YUMA, Ariz. – The holidays are here and the military would like to invite you to enjoy some holiday tunes. The U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corps Band is in town and will be performing their “Home for the Holidays” concert.
“All the music that we are performing was written right during that time in the late 40s early 50s when a lot of the classic holiday music that we hear on the radio all the time. That’s the music that we are playing tonight and sort of taking us back to that era,” said Warrant Officer 1 Jonathan Crane who is in-charge of the band.
Their last performance in Yuma is Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Historic Yuma Theater.
The band consists of more than 30 musicians and a variety of instruments. The best part of it all is that it is completely free to th e public. Crane said you should come enjoy your tax dollars at work.
