WELLTON, Ariz. – With only six matches remaining in the regular season, the Antelope Rams volleyball team is poised for a playoff push; despite having their recent winning streak snapped last week.
The Rams (ranked #22 in Division 5) would host an Odyssey Institute team that would literally take them to the limit in this one. After dropping the first two sets by a combined 15 points, the Rams would give their all when it counted the most.
The third set would prove to be the crucial tide turner, as players like Rubi Lopez, Alma Gamez and Karolina Leon would each step up their games to get enough points for the Rams to squeak by with a two-point win to keep the match alive.
Antelope would then keep the momentum the rest of the way, as they controlled the last two sets to complete the three-set comeback win!
Rams take the final tally of 10-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-13 and 15-7.
