YUMA, Ariz. – Construction on Fourth Avenue and 16th Street continues.
Crews are now working on curbside removal along 16th Street, which will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction. City officials say left turn lanes may be restricted during certain phases of the project.
As far as Fourth Avenue goes, it will also have some lane restrictions this week to accommodate water and sewer line work.
Right turn restrictions will remain in place for large trucks and semitrailers.
City officials ask drivers to use alternate routes away from the construction zone to avoid traffic congestion in the area.
