
YUMA, Ariz. – A teenage girl riding a bicycle was hit by a car and sent to the hospital in serious condition.
Yuma Police Department (YPD) officials say the incident happened Monday afternoon at the intersection of Eight Street and Eight Avenue.
Officials say the girl was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center. The driver, a 73-year-old woman, was in a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis and not injured.
