
SAN LUIS, Ariz. – A man suspected of being connected to the assault of a peace officer about a month ago was arrested during early hours Monday.
San Luis Police Department (SLPD) officials say they saw Marco Castro at a home he is known to live at near Santa Fe Avenue and Lakin Drive. Moments later officers say they saw a suspicious car leave the home and they pulled the driver over on 4th Avenue.
Police say the took Castro, a passenger in the car, into custody without incident.
Castro had several warrants for his arrest, including a felony warrant issued by the Arizona Department of Corrections for absconding.
He was booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on several felony charges and warrants.
