YUMA, Ariz. – An attorney has filed a lawsuit under the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act on behalf of consumers who claim they have been harmed by R.V. Peddler, Inc.
According to Yuma attorney M. David Karnas, R. V. Peddler, Inc. has engaged in widespread fraudulent consumer practices. Karnas says there are over 100 individuals and entities who have been harmed by R. V. Peddler, Inc.
Karnas says R.V. Peddler has demonstrated a pattern of failing to deliver clean titles to vehicles they’ve sold and failing to pay off liens on vehicles traded in.
The lead plaintiffs in this lawsuit are David and Alta Neal of Yuma.
Karnas says they traded in a truck and Recreational Vehicle (RV) for another RV, but R.V. Peddler, Inc. never paid the liens, and the Neals have been unable to obtain a title for their RV.
The lawsuit seeks injunctive relief and compensatory damages, as well as punitive damages to make sure future consumers are protected.
A press conference will be held in front of the Yuma County Courthouse Friday at 11 a.m.
