Yuma, Ariz. – The traveling doctor sentenced to three years in prison for filming women during gynecological exams at YRMC is now heading to trial.

David Lincoln Thorson was sentenced last July on six counts of secretly photographing women in January of 2010.

Two women not involved in that sentencing have since been included in this case.

YRMC has said Thorson was not employed by the hospital, but instead, only provided services through a temp agency, Southwest Emergency Physicians.

That agency, along with YRMC and Vista Staffing Solutions out of Salt Lake City, Utah are also accused of failing to determine Thorson was properly licensed.
