YUMA, Ariz. – Both San Luis and Yuma are up and coming area prep volleyball programs that both aspire to eventually challenge for the section crown. On Wednesday night, they both had the challenge of measuring up against one another.
Net enforcer Izzy Lucio and the Lady Criminals would get off to a solid start, taking the first set by a nine point advantage. But, then the Sidewinders under new head coach Ricardo Villegas would rally; taking the next three sets and the match.
San Luis wins it in four; 16-25, 25-22, 25-22 & 25-22.
