YUMA, Ariz. – Effective immediately, the City of Yuma has contracted with the Humane Society of Yuma to license cats and dogs within the City. Previously the City contracted with PetData, an internet based company, for the licensing. In an agreement, signed on November 19th, 2015, the Humane Society of Yuma (HSOY) has taken over as the licensing Agent. This is according to a press release sent by the City of Yuma Tuesday.
The City of Yuma asks city residents to discontinue sending renewal and new license requests to PetData and instead, send those requests to HSOY. Licenses can be obtained thru the mail, online at WWW.HSOYuma.com, in person at the Humane Society of Yuma or City Hall.
